PART-TIME PICKLEBALL COURT MONITOR
WRPA is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable, organized individual to serve as Pickleball Court Monitor evenings and weekends, approximately 12-15 hrs/week.
This role involves overseeing the use of pickleball courts during open play sessions, ensuring the courts are used safely, fairly and in compliance with established guidelines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pickleball, possess excellent communication skills and have a strong agility to facilitate positive interactions among players. This role also includes assessing player skill levels and managing court assignments to ensure a balanced and enjoyable playing experience for all.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of pickleball rules, gameplay, and skill levels (basic understanding required; advanced knowledge preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Physically capable of being active for extended periods.
Previous experience in customer service, recreation management, or sports supervision is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outdoors.
Work hours are three evenings/week 5:00pm-8:00pm and Sat. or Sun. 9:00am-12:00pm. Some holidays may be required.
Compensation: This position pays $20/hour.
